🌵 Welcome to Cactus Ranch Rescue

Where the only thing prickly is our sense of humor.

Founded in 2018 in Elgin, Texas, Cactus Ranch Rescue was born on an actual ranch — you know, with dirt, grass, and questionable fencing decisions. Fast forward to today, and we’re proud city-slicker rescuers based in Bryan, Texas, proving every day that you don’t need acres of land to make a lifesaving impact… just a whole lot of caffeine and an even bigger heart.

We are a small but scrappy rescue that works as a landing pad for animals who have nowhere left to go. We take on code-red, overlooked, misunderstood, and “running out of time” animals — the ones who still deserve a chance even if their luck ran dry. Dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and occasional mystery species that make us question our life choices — if they need us, we try to show up.

To provide safety, basic medical care, decompression, and an obscene amount of love to animals bridging the gap between overcrowded shelters and full-capacity rescues or adopters.

• Pull animals facing euthanasia or urgent crisis

• Provide medical support, foster care, rehabilitation & love

• Partner with rescues, fosters, and adopters to find the perfect next step

• Advocate, network, and beg nicely (and sometimes dramatically) for donations, fosters, and miracles

• Fancy facilities

• Acres of land anymore

• Enough lint rollers for the job

• An unlimited medical fund
